David Sanders is committed to the principles of Federal government fiscal responsibility and protection of the rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution.  He believes that it is essential to defend the authentic national security interests of the United States with dignity and integrity. As a dedicated teacher, Dr. Sanders considers funding for education not as an expense, but rather as an investment. David Sanders believes that children are America's most important resource.

David Sanders is determined to ensure that high-quality health care is available to all - to the most vulnerable in our society, to our veterans, and to the elderly, who have contributed so much over their life spans and still have so much to contribute.

David Sanders will fight to protect American workers from policies that endanger their ability to provide for their families.  David Sanders will work to ensure that free trade agreements are not used as tools to take away workers' jobs and benefits or to erode safety and environmental protections.
