I do not support Amendments to the U.S. Constitution that are for social engineering.  The last time this was tried was Prohibition, and we all know how successful that was.  The most recent proposal is just another in a long series of proposed reactionary diversion-tactic Amendments.  Interestingly, the Republican Congress refuses to abide by the 27th Amendment.  It plainly states that Congress cannot raise its pay during a term.  However, the Republican Congress has routinely violated this Amendment through Congressional hocus-pocus.  This unconstitutional money grab has been supported by Congressman Buyer. David Sanders will oppose it.  It is essential that the US Constitution receive the respect that it deserves.
