Candidate says he hopes to bring more jobs

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Democratic nominee for U.S. representative for the 4th district David Sanders discusses issues of his campaign.

Sanders considers former Congressman Steve Buyer’s sponsorship of job fairs admirable. He plans to focus on local projects to help bring jobs to the 4th district.

“Bring jobs for the new green economy which is coming,” Sanders explained. “The fact that we still have a strong manufacturing base can be extremely important in bringing those jobs here to the 4th district. We also have a fair amount of infrastructure for transportation. I believe we are going to have a new transportation economy.”

Sanders believes the government can play an important role in taking advantage of the academics, manufacturing, farming and the work force in the 4th district to create more jobs.
