“2 House candidates to debate in Greenwood.”

Two 4th Congressional District candidates will debate in Greenwood on Tuesday.

Democratic candidate David Sanders and Libertarian candidate John Duncan will face off at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenwood Public Library, 310 S. Meridian St.

Republican candidate Todd Rokita will not take part in the debate.

Sanders and Duncan will take questions on any subject from a panel and members of the audience for about an hour. They’re looking for volunteers to serve on the panel.

Anyone interested in participating can sign up online at sandersforcongress.com.

Rokita Sanders and Duncan are running to represent the 4th Congressional District, which runs from Monticello in northern Indiana to Mitchell in Lawrence County. In Johnson County, the district includes White River and Union townships, Bargersville, New Whiteland, the western twothirds of Franklin and parts of Whiteland, Greenwood and Needham Township.

The seat is held by U.S. Rep. Steve Buyer, who will retire at the end of the year.
