Mitchell (Lawrence County) 64th Annual Persimmon Festival
1:00 pm – Pre-Parade Introductions.
Main Street Stage. Attend the posting of the colors and the patriotic ceremony which opens the annual parade. We also introduce the grand marshal, mayor and other dignitaries.
2:00 pm – Grand Parade. Rain or Shine.
One of Indiana’s largest parades forms at Lehigh Field, the parade moves West on Main Street to Seventh Street, North on Warren, West to Eight and ends at MHS.
Grand Marshals Donna Sweigart and Betsy Mundy invite you to come out and watch the many special attractions in this year’s parade.
