Fall Campaigns Kick Into High Gear!

Election Day is still weeks away, but expect to be approached by political parties before November 2nd.
By phone or by door-knock, the Democratic and Republican parties in Tippecanoe County will be spending the next six weeks asking for your vote.
Chairman of the Tippecanoe County Democratic Party Heather Maddox said getting state candidates to Tippecanoe County will be key.
“That’s one of our focuses, is the senate race and the congressional races,” said Maddox.
Maddox said mid-term elections can be tough. She said in this fall’s elections, incumbents may have a tough time.
“We are not taking the District 27 race, Shelia’s race, for granted. We do want to remind people that it is important to keep people that are doing a good job even if it has been a long time,” said Maddox.
