Security Solutions International's 8th Group of US Law Enforcement departing for Israel on March 23rd for Homeland Security Training

(PRWeb) December 11, 2006 -- Security Solutions International (SSI), the Miami-based Homeland Security company, is taking yet another group of US Homeland Security First Responders to Israel. This will be the 8th group traveling to Israel through SSI, making SSI the leader and most experienced provider of Homeland Security Training - even more than official Government level delegations.

SSI's training in Israel has the cooperation and sponsorship of the Israeli Government and is also approved by the Office of Grants and Training of the Department of Homeland Security.

The Chief of Counter Terrorism at FLETC says, "SSI arranged access for us to some of the most sensitive installations and sites including the Knesset, the Port of Haifa, and the caliber of the speakers, including high ranking police executives, politicians and Israel Special Operations personnel was excellent."

"With activities increasing by terror groups in this country daily, and arrests mounting, many people realize that now is the time to learn about defending this country against terror attacks," says Henry Morgenstern, the Course Coordinator for the Israel groups. "One Brigadier General in the Israel Police told me that it is a luxury to be able to train and prepare before attacks begin, as opposed to the Israeli situation where attacks reached 14 Suicide Bombers a month in 2002. He told me putting the systems in place that have eventually reduced attacks to 3 or 4 a year was a real challenge under fire."

The trip is intense; participants visit sensitive Government installations and learn how to protect the public at Malls, Schools and Universities, Airports, Ports, and also about Dignitary Protection. There are daily visits and lectures making the 10-12 hour day long but rewarding.
